ArtWork was initiated by artists at Ultimate Holding Company (UHC) and is being developed by Engine with the aim of cultivating a dynamic creative community. There is a vision to provide space, inspiration and mutual support for ideas and ambitions to be realised.
Update Feb 2018 – All good things come to an end and Artwork Ateiliers end is the beginning of August 2018. Redevelopment around the building has been moving at a fast pace and plans to knock the building down for redevelopment of the area have arrived sooner than expected. All artists and tenants have been asked to leave by no later than the 3rd August 2018.
Engine is an arts production company which places a strong emphasis on making great work and delivering exciting projects that put people at the heart of the creative process. Engine Directors, visual artist, Jai Redman and musician, Ian Brownbill have between them over twenty years experience working as directors across the arts.
Engine works closely with M3 Industries and its Director, Simon Chislett. They provide technical and fabrication services for the Atelier and the wider artist community.
